How this works, is by building trust with you, our valued family. We start building trust by bringing clear transparency to our item rating process via our "Porchity Grading System". Since we aim to have thousands of items at the best prices, with simple descriptions available to you, we will follow the below grading system for every item we list.

Below is how you can get the most out of each item you consider purchasing on Porchity:

1. Every item we offer will fall in one of 3 primary Porchity Pillars... New Opportunity Buys, Small & Local Shops, and Lightly Used Finds.

2. Each item will contain the following information: Item description, which Porchity Pillar the item is from, standardized grading, any additional pertinent information that will enable you to make an informed purchase.

Porchity Grading System:
     New - Item is brand new from the original manufacturer or creator - you will be the 1st and only owner.
     Like New - Item shows signs of light usage or shelf aging, but is still in new or nearly new condition.
     Lightly Used - Item is likely used and you may be a secondary owner, but item is in great condition.
     Used - Item shows clear signs of use, but is still in good condition for it's secondary owner.
     Highly Used - Item shows signs of high usage. Signs of use or damage will be called out in listing.
